This step marks a further milestone in the development of the Chinese market. Isabellenhütte supplies resistance material for an airfoil de-icing system for the ?Dreamliner? Boeing 787. An audit showed that Isabellenhütte?s quality management system meets all requirements in this customer segment.

Isabellenhütte has again been accredited as a supplier to Airbus SAS. An audit showed that Isabellenhütte?s quality management system meets all of Airbus?s requirements. For organizational reasons the previous accreditation number AIR-AUTH-151 has been replaced by the following new accreditation number 229278.

Isabellenhütte coats SMD resistors with nickel, copper or tin (or all three materials) ? depending on the resistor type and specifications ? according to high quality standards. The new semi-automatic system doubles the plate manufacturing capacity. All processes and the monitoring of the electroplating baths, including the ampere-hour meters for each operator, are controlled with a modern PC and SPS system.

At regular intervals Isabellenhütte invites its worldwide representatives to an international representative meeting. This year in May Isabellenhütte?s managing directors Peter Müller (left in the picture) and Dr. Harald Lampey welcomed 36 representatives and agents from 20 different countries. The agenda for the three-day program included, beside other topics, the new VMx resistor family and the presentation of the recently installed vacuum melting furnace for our alloys.
