June 27, 2008: Isabellenhütte goes new ways in the USA

Isabellenhütte has started to develop the components market in the US automotive industry with an own sales office in Detroit. Ralph Sorrentino, who has been hired as sales manager, has long-time experience in this business and knows the market very well.
With this new sales channel, Isabellenhütte meets the clear customer requirement to be on the spot in development centres worldwide. Of course, North America and especially the Detroit region are of high importance.
For this task, Ralph Sorrentino received a two-week training in technology, sales and marketing at the production site in Dillenburg. In the months to come, he will visit first-time customers and prepare one of the most important exhibitions in this sector, the Convergence 2008, in close cooperation with his colleagues in Dillenburg. Our goal is to establish a qualified distribution network in North America in order to further extend the niche market of high-precision electric components and to develop additional potentials with a planned and structured market campaign.

The purpose of the space shuttle Atlantis was to bring ESA's Columbus research module to the International Space Station (ISS) on December 6, 2007. Due to bad weather conditions and some technical problems, the launch was postponed several times.
On Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 18:25 h (CET), the shuttle started at last: Columbus was brought on its way, and with it several SMV resistors of Isabellenhütte, which meet the strong quality requirements of the international aerospace agencies. The audit for these requirements is already done, and our Quality Management expects to receive the official ESCC certificate soon. Now all our "aerospace products" SMV/SMR/SMT/SMS/SMP will be listed in the next edition of the ESA vendor list of released components.

February 1, 2008: Isabellenhütte develops the Indian market

Isabellenhütte Heusler GmbH & Co. KG is going to further develop the components market in India. For this purpose, Isabellenhütte has hired Mr. Aijaz Nadeem in order to expand its components sales. He is based in Delhi.
Mr. Nadeem is an electrical engineer and has further degrees in sales and marketing. Before joining Isabellenhütte, he had worked for a leading components manufacturer in India and its neighbour countries for a number of years. Thus, he knows both the target market and the culture of the people in this large country, and he has the necessary contacts required to establish the first external sales office of Isabellenhütte. Up to now, sales had exclusively been organised through representatives and distributors.
This is a first step for Isabellenhütte to introduce a further sales channel. Due to a high potential, the chances are good that the company can gain a foothold in the Indian components market in the short term. Mr. Nadeem is supported by Petra Herberth and Klaus Weber, who are in charge of components sales to the Asian region.
