DKD laboratory

The DKD comprises of calibration laboratories of companies, research institutes, technical authorities as well as inspecting and testing institutions. These laboratories are monitored by the accreditation body of Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (German Calibration Service). They perform calibrations of technical devices and material measures for the measured variables and measurement ranges defined for accreditation. The DKD calibration certificates issued are a proof of the traceability to national standards, as required in the standards' family DIN EN ISO 9000 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
       
Calibrations by the DKD laboratories allow the user to trust in the reliability of measurement results. They thereby increase the confidence in the competitiveness in national as well as international markets. They also serve as a metrological basis for the control of measurement and test equipment within the framework of quality management.

The calibration laboratory of Isabellenhütte has been accredited (DKD-K-0131) as permanent laboratory by Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD) since 1982. We thereby ensure our quality standards and offer our customers an additional service.

The accuracy of our safeguarded on many levels. Through the affiliation of our laboratory to the German Calibration Service, our measuring equipment (temperature, mechanical and electrical variables) are permanently monitored. Our measuring standards are thereby subjected to automatic repeat inspections by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Berlin and Brunswick and can be traced back to national standards.

The membership in the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA) guarantees the DKD international attestation. Due to a multilateral agreement, the DKD calibration certificate is bindingly recognized in many member states.
