Higher integrated busbar shunts

The BAV busbar shunt series with pressfit-pins is the perfect fit for designs which shall not use an additional PCB with wiring to the main battery management system, but still need a slight separation between the battery management PCB and the busbar shunt.

This busbar shunt series provides current shunt monitoring (CSM) without soldering a PCB onto the shunt. Due to the design of the pressfit-pins, the quantity of pressfit-pins required per busbar shunt is not limited to one pair.

The pressfit-pins can also be applied on every standard busbar shunt resistor from Isabellenhütte, including customized busbar shunts.

Features

  • Current shunt monitoring (CSM)
  • Configurable pressfit-pin quantity and height per shunt

Applications

  • EV- and PHEV-applications
  • Industrial applications like stationary or mobile energy storage systems (ESS)
  • Phase current measurement

Where very high accuracy and reliability and a separation of the battery management system from the busbar currents is key to success, the analog sensor series from Isabellenhütte is the perfect fit.

The temperature and current measurement, designed for battery management ICs, is providing two of the most important functions of the battery management system with the best specifications and integrated know-how for shunt-based sensing.

Features

  • Current shunt monitoring (CSM)
  • Temperature measurement (TMP)

  • EV- and PHEV-applications
  • Industrial applications like stationary or mobile energy storage systems (ESS)
