First documentary mention of the "Kupferhütte auf der Nanzenbach"
The name “Isabelle Kupferhütte” is adopted; silver, lead and copper foundries are already in operation by this time.
Transfer of Isabellenhütte into the owndership of the Heusler family.
First production of manganese (98% purity) and copper-manganese alloys.
The alloy Manganin® is developed in collaboration with the Physical and Technical Institute of the German Reich (PTR). Manganin® remains an essential material in our precision and power resistors.
Friedrich Heusler (1866 - 1947) discovers the ferromagnetism of the later so called Heusler alloys (alloys consisting of non-ferrous metal).
Thermoelectric and resistance alloy division established. The company begins marketing thermoelectric alloys and developing foreign markets.
Insulation works built.
Hot rolling mill built; the first electrical components are developed.
Isabellenhütte becomes a member of the German Calibration Service (Deutscher Kalibrierdienst).
Production of the world’s first SMD mOhm precision current-sensing shunt.
The company develops a patented process for making electron-beam welded components and introduces the current ISA-WELD® range.
Certification to DIN EN ISO 9002.
Certification to DIN EN ISO 9001.
Certification to ISO/TS 16949; ISA-ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) developed.
First production use of ISA-ASIC in battery management systems.
Precision measurement range launched.
Introduction of VMx series of SMD resistors; 3-tonne vacuum induction furnace enters service.
Acquisition of our longterm trade partner ISOTEK and first international subsidiary in USA.
Foundation of our subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan. Isabellenhütte K.K.
